Who is the CBT4T Substack for?

The aim is for the CBT4T Substack to be a useful resource to anyone interested in CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy) and how it is used in the CBT4T programme. As such, it is for:

  • Anyone with tinnitus, whether they are already using the CBT4T programme or not yet enrolled

  • Anyone supporting others who have tinnitus, such as Audiologists, Hearing Therapists, and those in a tinnitus supporting/advisory role

What’s included in CBT4T Substack?

A mix of content including (though not limited to):

  • CBT4T back-stories - some common, some less common - real experiences of “what changed” for CBT4T programme Users

  • Why having some understanding of neuroscience (particularly brain plasticity), trauma, polyvagal theory, and elements of consciousness studies integrated in to the CBT4T programme process in addition to "CBT" significantly impacts the effectiveness for users of the programme

  • Answers to commonly asked questions – some you might have thought about, some you might not!

  • A CBT4T Chat facility is included where you are encouraged to make suggestions for future CBT4T Substack content

  • Insight in to some of the component parts of the CBT4T programme. As time progresses, I expect to be covering many aspects of the component parts of the bespoke CBT4T programme process

  • Selected articles from the original CBT4T blog archive
